Rebecca Margariti
Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Birmingham where she was awarded her BA (Hons) in Music and English Literature. Having played from early childhood, the flute has always been her first study instrument. She has a variety of performing experience within several ensembles and was awarded First Place in Staffordshire Music Festival's duet class (2009).
Whilst at University, Beck studied with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra flautist at Birmingham Conservatoire. Beck has always had a passion for ensemble work. She founded, directed and performed in a Wind Quintet during the University's Summer Festival of Music 2010. Her performance is influenced by her fascination with interdisciplinary arts, specialising in subjects such as 18th Century Visual Art and Music in Shakespeare. In addition to the flute, Beck is an experienced vocalist both within choral settings and as a soloist.
Since then, Beck has moved to Stratford-upon-Avon and works for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Developing her career in music, she has recently performed in the RSC Choir and continues to play for weddings and events as part of Qi-Music's live service.
